Mohammad Reza Ostad Ali, MD, PhD

Dr. Mohammad Reza Ostad Ali was born in Tehran in 1970.He received his M.D. degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences in 1996.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Ostad Ali was born in Tehran in 1970.He received his M.D. degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences in 1996 and completed his PhD degree in 2004 in Immunology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences –School of Public Health. He completed special courses on sequencing-based HLA typing (SBT) and High throughput HLA typing using Sanger Sequencing and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) methods in Taiwan and Germany in 2012 and 2014, respectively. For 6 years, he was a director of laboratories at the Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation Center.  Dr. Ostad Ali teaches Neuroimmunology, Immunology, Transplant Immunology and HLA Typing to Ph.D by Research students. He has membership in "Iranian Society of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation", "Iranian Society for Immunology and Allergy"," European Federation for Immunogenetics" and Scientific Committee of the "Asia-Pacific Blood and Marrow Transplantation (APBMT) Group. In 2007, he became executive secretary of Asia-pacific Cancer Congress (APCC).  Since 2006, he has been a faculty member at the Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation Research Center, where he was a director of laboratories for 6 years since 2007.He currently serves as immunology counselor and supervisor of HLA Typing Laboratory. At present, he is a member of Committee on Alternative Donor Sources and Research Committee at the Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation Research Center.
